Sitebuilding Tools

The DAC website is built with the BBEdit text editor in ways designed to work with most browsers and platforms. For efficient management of a large number pages with consistent "look and feel," the site makes heavy use of BBEdit Include files, which function off-line much like off-line Server-Side Includes, rendered before uploading to live server. Creation of certain pages is partially automated by export logic in the museum's database system.
