Mission Statement

In partnership with faculty, staff, and students, the Office of Student Affairs/Deans' Office challenges and supports student development in an inclusive and responsible learning community so that they will become educated and active citizens of the world.

Through our work, we:

• cultivate a campus environment where students think critically, participate in constructive dialogue and engage in meaningful contemplation;

• foster awareness, respect, and appreciation for a diversity of experiences, interests, beliefs, and identities;

• support student leadership development and the practical application of leadership skills; and

• promote curiosity of mind and excellence in the life-long pursuit of knowledge.
