Mission Statement

In partnership with faculty, staff, and students, the Office of the Dean of the College challenges and supports student development in an inclusive and responsible learning community so that they will become educated and active citizens of the world.

Through our work, we:

• cultivate a campus environment where students think critically, participate in constructive dialogue and engage in meaningful contemplation;

• foster awareness, respect, and appreciation for a diversity of experiences, interests, beliefs, and identities;

• support student leadership development and the practical application of leadership skills; and

• promote curiosity of mind and excellence in the life-long pursuit of knowledge.
