Medical Transportation Shuttle Service

The Medical Transport Shuttle Service will be implemented on November 1st 2005. This campus-oriented service is being initiated as a means to assist students who may need to utilize off-campus facilities in response to a medical issue.

Students who would like to take advantage of this service should contact Sarah Lazare, the Associate Dean of Student Academic Resources for physical differences and/or learning differences to discuss their need.

There will be a $20.00 fee charged to the student's account every time the service is utilized. The service includes transportation to and from the appropriate medical facility and any additional stops related to their medical issue. Dean Lazare will be responsible for notifying Transportation Service Manager, Marcello Curridori, regarding the student's name and the date the service is required. Students using this service should contact the transportation office at least 48 hours in advance to confirm a pickup point and time.

Students wishing to cancel a ride should contact the transportation office at extension 3788 at least 24 hours in advance. Students failing to notify the shuttle manger of a cancellation may be charged a $10.00 fee.
