Dining at Wesleyan
Wesleyan University Dining Services is managed by Bon Appétit Management Company. Founded in 1987, Bon Appétit is an onsite custom restaurant company that provides café and catering services to corporations, colleges and universities, and specialty venues. Bon Appétit is known for its culinary expertise, commitment to socially responsible food sourcing and business practices, and strong partnerships with respected conservation organizations.
The Wesleyan University community is proud to partner with a company that shares our values and equally proud of the level of culinary expertise and commitment to social responsibility they will bring to our campus dining program.
There are multiple dining venues on campus, managed by Bon Appetit including the Usdan Marketplace, Usdan Cafe, Summerfields, and Pi Cafe. The Wes Shop is also managed by Bon Appetit and provides a mini-market with a large inventory for on campus groceries.
SUMMER DINING AT WESLEYAN
This summer there will be an option for Wesleyan students participating in summer session II to purchase a meal plan. You must select the plan at the time you make a your housing request. To register for a summer meal plan and summer housing, please use the form available in the Summer Session bucket of your e-portfolio.
Wesleyan Student Block Meal Plan options (open to all Wesleyan students during summer session II period 7/1 – 7/30):
25 Meal Package $225.00, no points
50 Meal Package $450.00, no points
Once a block plan has been selected there will be no modifications allowed (no changes, deletions, adjustments due to medical, etc.). Block plans are good for any meals, one swipe per meal period. There are 19 meal periods within one week, 82 meal periods within the 30 day class cycle.
ADDITIONAL NOTE: there are no special accommodations in the summer i.e. no Kosher or Vegetarian Chef, no dietician/nutritionist services, no special allergy accommodations, no gluten free station. Menu consists of very basic summer/camp fare and does not provide the number of options or variety found in Marketplace during the regular academic year.
