Recycle This!

Does the recycle truck have a crusher?  What does the recycling plant smell like?  What happens if you put the wrong thing in the recycle bin?  Macdonough School second graders wondered how recycling worked in their home town of Middletown, CT, so we visited with a recycling coordinator, a truck driver, and a recycle plant supervisor to see what we could find out.  Follow our smiley bottle on its ride from blue bin to recycling plant — and maybe some of your questions will be answered, too.
