Earth and Environmental Sciences Wesleyan University

Some years ago Professor Joe Webb Peoples contributed to a collection at what is now the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences and housed in Wesleyan's Exley Science Center. Professor Peoples taught there, at what was then the Geology Department. He and his colleagues and students did research in the surrounding countryside and their investigations into local areas such as the Portland, Connecticut brownstone quarries uncovered and preserved unique fossil remains.
