organizations. As a reviewer, you can add value by taking your reviewer
responsibilities seriously.
The originator should:
Include your name and telephone number on the article.
Circulate the article in a timely manner, giving plenty of time for
review and comment.
Give a firm deadline date.
Ask reviewers to pay attention to a specific part of the article or
fill in needed data. For example, you would ask Inventory Management to
pay special attention to ordering information, stock number, and item numbers.
The reviewer should:
Read the article thoroughly.
Add expertise without altering the main point of the article.
Make clear, concise comments and suggestions.
Return the article in a timely manner, meeting the given deadline.
