Wesleyan University, centrally located on the Connecticut River between Hartford and the shoreline, offers an ideal location for conferences, meetings and symposia. Over forty classrooms of various sizes are available for rental on weekends, during the summer months and during winter and spring recesses. All classrooms are well lit, air-conditioned and most have media capabilities. Conference, seminar and lecture style rooms are available and there is ample parking for large groups in the Vine Street Lot.

EXLEY SCIENCE CENTER 150 AND OTHER CLASSROOMS

Located at 265 Church Street, the Exley Science Center offers a variety of rooms, all accessible to those with disabilities. The largest classroom, 150 Science Center has 290 fixed seats arranged in a semi-circle on raised tiers. There are also small and medium size classrooms with a variety of seating styles and two conference rooms available for rental by outside organizations. Most of Wesleyan’s classrooms have extensive Audio/Visual capabilities. Use of classroom technology must be arranged with Wesleyan support staff through the Events and Scheduling Office. These costs are exclusive of room rental and the client will be billed for such costs after the event. Beverage and food service at conference venues may be arranged with University Dining.

Wesleyan University also welcomes applications from summer programs and short-term conferences. Please inquire about rental fees for extended classroom use, food service and housing.
