The Zelnick Pavilion, a glass atrium that connects the Chapel to the Patricelli '92 Theater, was completed in 2003. With walls entirely of glass, it offers an open airy view of the Connecticut River to the east and Andrus Field, Foss Hill and the Van Vleck Observatory to the west. While its primary function is a covered entrance to the elevator that allows access to all levels of both buildings and as site of the event box office, it may also be utilized for receptions or small dinners. It is possible to rent the Zelnick Pavilion separately or in conjunction with rental of the Chapel, depending on the nature of the event.
