THE 2010 INDEPENDENT FILMMAKER SERIES

In April of 2010, The Center for Film Studies will host an independent
filmmaker speaker series. The series will run for 5 consecutive Thursday
nights, starting on April 1 and ending on April 29, and each night will
feature a different film and guest speaker--the full schedule is below.
The program consists of a diverse array of films and speakers which showcase
the very best in contemporary independent cinema.
All shows in the series begin at 8 PM, are free of charge, and are open
to the public. We start all shows ON TIME. Every show will take
place at the Goldsmith Family Cinema in Wesleyan's Center for Film Studies,
located at 301 Washington Terrace in Middletown, CT.
Below is the full schedule:
April 1, 2010--We will screen Wah Do Dem, and co-writer and director
Sam Fleischner will be the guest. Wah Do Dem won the Best
Dramatic Feature Award at the 2009 Los Angeles Film Festival. For more

Parking is available in Parking Lot T (which is adjacent to the Center for
Film Studies) and on the street.
There is no food or drink inside allowed in the Goldsmith Family Cinema.
