International Students
Prospective Students:
Financial aid for international students is extremely limited and is awarded on the basis of both exceptional qualifications and demonstrated need. Wesleyan expects to provide financial assistance to approximately 15 international students from a pool of over 400 such applicants. No financial aid is available for transfer students who are not US citizens or eligible non-citizens.
Do not submit the FAFSA. For the incoming class of 2012-13, we will be requiring the CSS Profile along with verification of income with English translation.
Although there is no family contribution calculator available for international students to use on the web we are happy to answer any specific questions directly. Inquiries about expected family contributions or the aid process should be directed to Jamie Seadeek in the Office of Financial Aid, at finaid@wesleyan.edu.
Returning Students:
In an effort to streamline the reapplication process for international students, we have determined that your family’s financial information no longer needs to be submitted annually. You do not need to turn any documents in to the Office of Financial Aid for 2011-12. Unless we are otherwise advised by you or your family, Wesleyan will use last years application as a basis for determining the 2011-12 total family contribution. Our office will produce a financial aid award for you prior to your Fall 2011 bill notification.
