||--Assist with marketing campaigns that develops ways to make the Center for the Arts more accessible to the communities it serves, including the Wesleyan community, Greater Middletown and communities statewide
--Research affinity groups, colleagues, and targeted communities for specific programming.
--Community outreach via direct mail, phone calls, and e-mails to affinity groups to facilitate ticket sales and/or attendance.
--Edit and circulate copy for programs for Center for the Arts events.
--Help create fresh content on social media platforms including Facebook and Twitter, YouTube, Vimeo, Flickr, Soundcloud, and Instagram.
--Proven administrative skills required, marketing experience is preferred.
--Excellent written and oral skills, as well as research skills, are necessary.
--Knowledge of the arts is essential, as is familiarity with social media.
--Ability to meet deadlines and communicate clearly about various types of programming.
--Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a variety of people.
--Must be resourceful and detail-oriented
--Proficient in Word and Excel. Web maintenance experience with Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Fetch is a plus.
