The
department share of total work-study and term-time wages is 50% with federal
and institutional work-study funds
paying the remaining 50%, up to the student's semester allocation.
It is important to keep track of student's earnings as departments
will be charged 100% if s/he earns more than his/her semester
allotment. This primarily occurs when a student has more than one
work-study job. You can monitor a student's Work-Study Allotment
through the PeopleSoft.
