POSTING A POSITION (Note: the Job Posting Board is a resource solely for on-campus employers and Wesleyan University's community service partners to post positions.) In an effort to keep the Job Posting Board as accurate and user-friendly as possible, only open positions are listed. Therefore, employers should first consult the Job Board to see if they have any positions currently listed. If there is need for student help in your office and there is not currently a job posted, you have a couple of options, depending on whether this is an existing position (i.e. you have had students work in the same capacity before and posted the job on the site) or a new position. For some helpful hints on filling out a job description to be posted, visit the "Important Things To Remember" section. EXISTING POSITION If the position(s) you are looking to fill has been posted on our website before and there are only minor changes to the job description (such as start dates, payrate, contact information), simply contact the Student Employment Office. The job descriptions, despite the fact that they are not visible to the public, are still available. E-mail such requests to Sean Martin at smartin@wesleyan.edu. Be as specific as possible with any revisions you may have. NEW POSITION If this is a new position that you are advertising, or if you are making significant changes to the job description, you will need to fill out a job description. Employers now have the opportunity to fill out and submit this description via a web-based form. There is also a word document that can be e-mailed if you are more comfortable with that.
