IDOC

What is IDOC?

IDOC (Institutional Documentation Service) is a service of the College Board that collects tax documents and verification worksheets from applicants and sends them to the selected institutions after converting them into electronic documents.   IDOC allows for applicants to securely upload all financial aid tax documents as part of the application process.

How do I upload documents?

Once you have submitted the CSS PROFILE you will receive an email notification with instructions to upload your tax documents at https://idoc.collegeboard.org/idoc/.

  1. Go to the IDOC Sign In Page.
  2. Enter two of the following: your IDOC ID, your SSN, or your Date of Birth.
  3. Click Sign-In.

Can I send multiple packets to IDOC?

Dependent students whose parents are married or reside in the same household may upload or mail one packet of documents to IDOC. Students whose parents are divorced, separated or never married and reside apart may upload/mail two packets, one for each biological parent.

What if I forget to include a document in my IDOC packet?

If you discover that you have mistakenly left out a document, do not send a second packet to IDOC. It will not be processed. Instead, send the document directly to the Wesleyan University Financial Aid Office.

I lost my IDOC ID. How do I find out what it is?

Your IDOC ID is located on your IDOC Cover Sheet and IDOC Requirements. If you do not have either document, go to the IDOC Sign-In Page. Enter your SSN and your Date of Birth, and then click Sign-In. On the next page, click IDOC Cover Sheet or IDOC Requirements. If you still need assistance, contact the College Board by calling (305) 829-9793 or emailing us at help@cssprofile.org.

Can I mail my tax documents to IDOC?

Yes, you may mail in one complete packet of tax documents to the IDOC processing center. You must include the IDOC cover sheet as it contains your identifying information.
