Wesleyan’s Greatest Need
Of the $66,000 annual expense of a Wesleyan education per student, tuition and fees pays only $47,000. The Wesleyan Fund and the endowment pay the missing $19,000 in the form of a Tuition Grant made possible through your gift and the other gifts of alumni, parents and friends.
Scholarships
With help of alumni, parents and friends through the Wesleyan Fund, Wesleyan admits gifted students from every cultural and economic background, regardless of their ability to pay.
Faculty Teaching and Research
Faculty combine research and teaching to provide undergraduates with graduate level learning experiences. Your support enables Wesleyan to hire new faculty who infuse the curriculum with innovative ideas, new energy, and optimism about the future.

Guided by distinguished scholar-artists on Wesleyan’s faculty, undergraduates experience the arts personally through hands-on creative endeavors and student-run productions, performances, and exhibitions.
Sciences
Wesleyan has by far the best science and math faculty among our peers, as measured by faculty publications in peer-reviewed journals, their frequency of citations, and the amount of funded research. At Wesleyan, students conduct original research and co-publish findings with faculty members. The opportunity to gain such experience at the undergraduate level distinguishes science education at Wesleyan.
