Chair Workshops

Chair workshop, August 4-5, 2008. Current and future geoscience department chairs from New England will be invited. The focus is on faculty. The theme is the 3 R’s to an effective and diverse department: Recruitment, Retention, and Retreat, to advance. The workshop will also provide an opportunity for chairs to meet and discuss other departmental concerns.

Location - Wesleyan University. Rooms have been reserved for Monday evening at The Inn @ Middletown. Participants are responsible for making their own reservations. Room costs will be covered by the NSF grant.
