The General Counsel

 

David S. Winakor serves as General Counsel and Secretary of Wesleyan University. The General Counsel represents Wesleyan University, its Trustees, Officers, Faculty and Staff, all in their official capacities, on various issues impacting the University.

 

Prior to serving as General Counsel, David was Assistant General Counsel and Vice President for Business Development for The Stanley Works. Prior to Stanley, David practiced corporate and commercial law at Murtha Cullina, LLP in Hartford, CT after serving as a commissioned officer in the United States Army.
