Summer Housing 2008

Wesleyan University housing is available on a weekly basis for summer students at 14 Warren Street, a 3-unit residence located on campus. The units are completely furnished and air conditioned.  Each unit features a full kitchen with a table and chairs, plus seating at a peninsula counter; a living room with a couch, chairs, and a coffee table; and shared bathrooms. Private bedrooms, 10' x 11', have one single bed with a mattress, a desk with chair, a bookshelf, and a dresser. The house comes equipped with all kitchen appliances except a microwave, and all rooms are wired for internet and cable, and wireless is available throughout.  The lower-level unit is fully handicap accessible.

Rates listed below do not include blankets, linens, desk lamps and bulbs, ironing boards, or housekeeping services. Each bedroom is equipped with an Ethernet data port, a cable outlet that includes free basic service, and a telephone jack with voicemail capacity. You will need to bring your own computer, television, and cell phone and or touch tone telephone. Students will have to register for telephone service with the University phone service provider at an additional cost. To configure your computer to use the data ports, visit the ITS web site. No pets are allowed in campus housing. If any pets are found on the premises, the owner will be required to remove the animal immediately and will be charged a fine by the University for every time the pet is found on the premises.

To register for housing, submit a housing registration form to Alyson Marcell at the GLSP office by fax, mail, or in person. Students  may occupy the apartment beginning the afternoon of Saturday, June 14, 2008, and must vacate the apartment by the morning of Sunday, August 3, 2008. Students who need to leave later, or who would like to stay on campus for less than one week, may call the Inn at Middletown at 800-637-9851. Wesleyan rates are available.
