Political Theory Position

The Department of Government at Wesleyan University seeks applicants for an appointment as Assistant Professor in the area of political theory. Field of specialization within political theory is open. Department faculty also help staff the College of Social Studies and candidates should be prepared to participate in this interdisciplinary program within Wesleyan. Applicants must have a PhD or be near completion. Middle East Position

The Department of Government at Wesleyan University seeks applicants for a tenure track appointment as an Assistant Professor with a specialty in Middle East politics. The position is open with respect to topical expertise but candidates should have a strong commitment to comparative politics, research competence in a Middle East language, extensive field work in one or more countries of the region, and strong methodological skills and interests. The teaching load is two courses per semester. Candidates must have a PhD in hand or be near to completion.
