Prospective students should file an
on-line application for graduate admission with the
chair of the department concerned. Letters of recommendation, official
undergraduate and graduate transcripts, and other supporting documents as requested by
the department should be submitted in a timely matter and sent directly to
the department.
Some
departments require the submission of Graduate Record Examination scores
as part of the application process.
Specific language preparation is usually required as either part of the
application or as part of the program of study. Departmental statements
regarding mastery of the English language may be found in the
section on courses of instruction.

It will take 25-30 minutes to complete the on-line application for
graduate admission. Be sure to have the following information
available to complete the on-line admission application.
o Social Security Number, if applicable
o E-Mail Address
o Permanent and Mailing Addresses
o Telephone Numbers
- Program/Department of Interest and Fields of Interest
- Prior Education
o Schools, universities, colleges, including addresses
o Dates of attendance
o Degree(s), if applicable
- GRE, TOEFL and Other Appropriate Test Scores
- Names of recommenders
- Honors/Awards
- Publications/Presentations
- Work Experience
As you navigate through the on-line admission application, be sure to
fill in all required information. When you come to the end of the
on-line application, you will have an opportunity to review all of your
answers before you submit.
If all is correct, please be sure to click the submit button.
Once you have submitted the application on-line, you will receive an
acknowledgement email with further instructions.
Please note your admission application is not complete until you
send the supplemental materials to the academic department. Please view the department's website for more
information on all required materials.
