Health Insurance

HEALTH INSURANCE IS MANDATORY AT WESLEYAN. Failure to show proof of insurance (from an insurance carrier) will allow an administrative decision to enroll a student in the Gallagher Koster plan at their expense. An insurance wavier with a copy of your insurance card will need to be given to the Office of Graduate Student Services as proof of your own insurance.

HEALTH INSURANCE OPTIONS:

New graduate students may opt for one of two health insurance options: CIGNA or the Gallagher/Koster plan (a Wesleyan sponsored health insurance).

Enrollment forms for CIGNA should be completed upon arrival and returned to Benefits at Human Resources (212 College Street) for new students. Continuing students can enroll in the plan during open enrollment in late November with the effective date of January 1st.
