Courses of Study

General Information

The time and location of class meetings, additions to and deletions from the announced list of courses, and the procedures for preparing a list of studies may be found in the latest Wesleyan University Course Book and its supplements. The number indicates the general character and level of the course, with graduate-level courses generally numbered 401–600. Courses at the 201 and 301 level or above may be included in the graduate programs. Odd-numbered courses are generally offered in the first semester, even-numbered courses in the second semester.

Undergraduate intermediate- or senior-level courses, which may be assigned in the first year of the graduate program at the discretion of the departments, are described in full in the Wesleyan University Catalog.

Wesleyan University admits students without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, or national or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the University. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, or national or ethnic origin in admission to, access to, employment in, or treatment in its programs and activities.
