Spice up your summer nights
with this HOT salsa class! Dance for fitness or for
fun. David keeps your feet tapping and your body
moving in this upbeat class. Students will learn
modern club-style salsa rhythms and steps that are
in use all around the world. Wear comfortable
clothing and smooth or leather soled shoes. No
partner necessary to pick up these steps; come by
yourself or bring a friend! |

If you really want to feel great, try Gia's gentle
yoga class. These classes are ongoing, no experience is necessary, all
ages and skill levels are welcome. This is Gia's own style, developed
over her experience since 1970. In this class you will stretch and tone
the muscles, bring awareness and control to the breath, increase mind
concentration and focus, lubricate the joints, strengthen the bones,
massage and condition internal organs, balance the mind and emotions,
give flexibility to the mind and body and strengthen the nervous system.
*Please come in comfy clothes with food digested, and bring a large towel or blanket. Movements will be performed in bare feet.

Advanced Salsa

It's finally here! Have you taken Salsa I and II?
Here is the next level for you. David will review
timing and the base patters of this hot dance. You
will focus on timing, musicality, and partner
connections. Learn new variations and work on floor
craft (the art of moving within a small,
ever-changing dance area). Leaders will work on
improvisation and followers will build their ability
to dance with any leader.

Come move the Nia way. The Nia Technique is an
expressive fitness practice based on pleasure
movements for the body, mind, emotions and spirit.
This fitness class blends martial arts, dance arts
and the healing arts into a routine fueled by music.
You will leave this class reenergized, stronger,
more flexible and less stressed. Nia is for all
bodies; all fitness levels and promotes moving "The
Body's Way." Wear comfortable clothes, bring water,

Salsa or Ballroom: Private Lessons

$75/hr for couple, $65/hr individual. Minimum 1hr.
Have you taken all the salsa
classes you can take? Are you a beginner with two
left feet? Do you have a special event or wedding
coming up? Then enroll in a private lesson with our
experienced teaching artist, David Polon. David will
coach you through personalized instructions,
assessments and corrections. Meet your dancing goals
with Green Street! David Polon has been teaching
dance for nine years in Connecticut and California.
He currently coaches and choreographs for dance
teams in Hartford and at Central Connecticut State
University.
A 25% non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration; complete payment is due at the start of the lesson. The first 60-minute session will include a consultation in addition to instruction.
