Flash Forward—Photography Meet-up

$3 members & students, $5 nonmembers
This series is a chance for photographers and photo enthusiasts to share work, tips, questions and opportunities! Bring up to five recent works to share with the group, or participate in monthly photo projects and share results online at http://www.flickr.com/groups/flash51/. Flash Forward is planning three photographic field trips this summer: June- Magic Wings, Deerfield, MA, July- Gillette Castle, Hadlyme, CT, August- Angelic Cemetery, Hartford, CT. We will discuss theses field trips and share photos.

Learn how to create a compelling, viewer-friendly website with KompoZer, a free web-editing program available for both PCs and Macs and also create an interactive Blog to express yourself on the web. Explore techniques for publishing web pages, blogging, posting photos, incorporating video/audio samples, and maintaining your site. Students will be guided in purchasing both a domain name (www.yourname.com) and a hosting plan for your website, and in registering a blog. Class limit: 9. Domain registration, hosting fees and ongoing maintenance will be the responsibility of the student.

Learning to Record Your Own Music with Pro Tools
