University for a special concert on Saturday, November 3 at 9pm to benefit
the Green Street Arts Center and celebrate the inauguration of Wesleyan
President Michael Roth.
The concert will take place at Crowell Concert Hall (283 Washington Terr.,

and Benefactor tickets are also available. For tickets and more information,

In I’ll Be Seeing You…Love Songs of WWII, Marcovicci takes the
audience on a journey through America’s most dramatic era using songs and
stories. In memory of the anniversary of D-Day, the show was performed in
Normandy and for veterans throughout the United States. The music represents
many of America’s most prolific songwriters including Hoagy Carmichael,
Johnny Mercer, Jule Styne, and the many others responsible for hits like
“Sentimental Journey,” “The White Cliffs of Dover” and “Skylark.”
Quotes
“…a grande dame of cabaret…To watch Ms. Marcovicci in action is to observe a
great singing actress interpreting lyrics with every fiber of her body…”–New
York Times
“In my short time here, I have seen what a tremendous resource Green
Street is for Middletown. I am thrilled to have Andrea Marcovicci, an artist
that I’ve enjoyed and admired for many years, perform a concert to benefit
Green Street on my inauguration weekend. I’ve heard her sing to my students
in Claremont, and to delighted audiences in Los Angeles, San Francisco and
New York. It is wonderful to have her in Middletown!”—Wesleyan President
Michael Roth
