Additional Info

The preliminary schedule outlines events that are open to all members of the Wesleyan family. Be sure to check back often for changes and additions here, and upon arrival on campus at Registration (Usdan University Center).

Registration

Online registration for Wesleyan’s Homecoming/Family Weekend closed on October 23, 2009. For planning and catering purposes we cannot accept registrations after that date. Don’t worry if you missed the deadline. You may register onsite during the weekend, however there’s a chance that some ticketed events may be sold out.

Traditional Wesleyan T-shirts available only to those who register by October 23

Whether you are cheering on the Cardinals vs. Williams College on our athletic fields, soaking up knowledge in one of our acclaimed WESeminars, or heading home after a great weekend in Middletown, wear your red and black with pride! Purchase your shirt when you register for the weekend by October 23. Shirts will be available for pickup when you arrive on campus and check in at the Usdan University Center.

Travel alert: Access to Wesleyan via Rte 66

The Connecticut Department of Transportation has notified Wesleyan University that road construction on Washington Street (Route 66) between Bernie O’Rourke Drive and Plaza Drive is expected to cause heavy traffic delays weekdays between 6:00 am and 2:30 pm. Work is expected to continue for the next 2 years, except during the winter. Travelers from New Haven, New York and points south and from Waterbury and points west are encouraged to find alternate routes to Wesleyan via 91 Northbound to Route 9 Southbound. Wesleyan and Middletown officials are working with State officials to install temporary highway signs rerouting traffic and in the hopes of rescheduling construction to evenings. For the latest project updates, please check the DOT web site at this link.

WEScasts

Several Homecoming/Family Weekend events will be webcast live (“WEScast”), and made available on iTunes U or as streaming video after the weekend. If you can’t make it to campus, please join us online! For a list of events being webcast and instructions on how to view them during or after Homecoming/Family Weekend, visit the WEScast home page.
