ELIGIBILITY FOR SERVICES & FEES
 All
enrolled students are eligible for
services. Students are requested to make appointments by calling
860-685-2470; however,
walk-in visits are available for urgent care. Walk-ins for non-urgent
care may have an extended wait. Please phone ahead to speak with a
triage nurse. University tuition fees also supports WesWELL, the
health and wellness promotion and outreach education division of University
Health Services, as well as the Office of Behavioral
Health, a separate but
collaborating campus health resource.
Visits to the
Health Center are without charge, but as of Fall 2007 a $10 fee will be
assessed to any student who fails to cancel an appointment within 24 hours.
Fees will be billed directly to student accounts. Certain diagnostic tests,
procedures, medications and supplies are provided at nominal cost. Our fees,
while far below local retail cost, are subject to change as the cost of
medical supplies varies. We are committed to providing the lowest cost and
highest quality healthcare to you and will only increase costs to maintain
our ability to supply you with goods and services.
