LOCATION

  Davison Health Center is located at 327 High Street, between Malcolm X House and the Davison Arts Center. Please use the main entrance (off of CFA green) during office hours for Health or Counseling Services. Limited parking is available at the back of the building. The Davison Health Center also houses the Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) and WesWELL, the Office of Health Education (enter from parking lot by Malcolm X House).


HOURS

  University Health Services are open, when classes are in session, Monday-Thursday  9am-6pm, Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 10am-2:00pm. Appointments are encouraged and can be scheduled Monday-Thursday 9am-5:30 pm and Friday 9am-4:30pm. Walk-Ins during weekday hours for non-urgent care may have an extended wait. Please call to speak with a nurse or schedule an appointment at 860-685-2470; Fax is 860-685-2471. The Health Center is open Saturdays, 10am to 2:00 pm for urgent care without an appointment.  See below for on-call services.

  The Health Center is closed during academic breaks and summer.

 

AFTER HOURS ON-CALL SERVICES

  University Health Services has an after hours on-call message center available during the academic year when residence halls are open. Please call (860) 685-2470.  You will speak "live" with an after hours call center representative who will deliver the message to the physician on call.  The Doctor will return your call.

  If you are calling for the Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) Office, please call (860) 685-2910.  You will speak "live" with an after hours call message center representative who will deliver the message to the therapist on call.  The therapist will return your call.


WHEN THE HEALTH CENTER IS CLOSED

    In the event you need medical care during a University recess, please see the list of medical providers below.  The Preferred Walk-In Medical Center provides services to students with university- sponsored insurance as well as private insurance.   *Please alert walk-in clinic staff that you are a Wesleyan student.
