Smoking Cessation Options
You Can Quit!
The staff at the Davison Health Center would like to assist students
and staff who want to quit smoking become smoke-free.

about the following quit options, which are facilitated by a trained
smoking cessation counselor:
Individual Support:

For students and staff interested in quitting on their own.

Meet one-on-one to develop a personalized quit plan.
Group Support:

For students interested in quitting with friends and enjoygroup dynamics.

Meet as a group and learn techniques that will assist you and others through the quit process.

Freedom From Smoking 7-week program will be offered for students and staff if enough interest (separate programs).
Residence Hall or House Program:

Ask your RA or HM to plan a program for smokers and non- smokers to learn self-help quit tips and how to be supportive for someone attempting to quit.
