Please fill this out and show this to your major advisor or the person you consult to get admitted to the major.  This form is simply to show that you are fully aware of what the requirements are; you aren't committed to take a course merely because you list it here.

Eleven (11) courses are required above the 150 level including at least 8 within the department; 3 seminars (including HIST 362, which is a required course); 1 pre-industrial course; and 2 courses outside the concentration.  All majors must also fulfill the research requirement.  Six courses must be within your area of concentration.  In addition, several concentrations have required courses or sequences of courses.  N.B. University regulations require a student to have at least 8 courses within the major above the 200 level.
