PLEASE NOTE:  This application form must be completed, approves and signed by your advisor, then brought to the History Department office.  This should be done at the same time you file your major application card with the Registrar's office.

Eleven (11) courses are required above the 150 level including at least 8 within the department; 3 seminars (including HIST 362, which is a required course); 1 pre-industrial course; and 2 courses outside the concentration.  All majors must also fulfill the research requirement.  Six courses must be within your area of concentration.  In addition, several concentrations have required courses or sequences of courses.  N.B. University regulations require a student to have at least 8 courses within the major above the 200 level.
