History Courses in the Pre-industrial Era

History majors must complete at least one upper-level (numbered 150 or higher) chiefly concerned with a Pre-industrial era, defined as follows:

• Europe and North America before 1760
• Asia before 1800
• Latin America before 1820
• Africa before 1870
