Wesleyan’s
prescription drug program is managed by MedImpact. Faculty and
staff will continue to pay one unified premium for the medical and
prescription drug programs.
MedImpact’s web site contains a large amount of information and can be
reached at
www.medimpact.com/members . For example, you can look up personal
prescription benefit and drug coverage information, find the location of
the nearest participating pharmacy, and estimate prescription costs. You
will need to be a registered user to take advantage of this resource. It
is simple to register; all you need is your name, member ID #, and birth
date.
You can order
additional cards (or get answers to other questions) by calling
MedImpact’s customer service number 1-800-788-2949.
Mail order quantities and prices are
available at Walgreen Pharmacies under the Choice90Rx program. You will
be able to take your 3 month mail order prescription to Walgreen’s and
have it filled over the counter at mail-order costs. Of course, you can
still fill your prescriptions through MedImpact’s mail order program.
