Programs for Educational Advancement
Administrative staff members whose FTE is at least .75 are
eligible to be reimbursed for up to $1,500 per year for successful completion of
up to two courses per semester at other accredited colleges and universities.
Year is based on the fiscal year when the course(s) begin. Reimbursement is
limited if tuition is reimbursed by other assistance (e.g., G.I. Bill, research
grant, fellowship, etc.). Additionally, the costs of books, other course
materials, parking, and graduation expenses are not covered.
To apply for this benefit please submit a tuition
reimbursement application form before enrolling. To be eligible for
reimbursement, this application must be approved by your supervisor and
submitted to Human Resources prior to course enrollment. A fee schedule
must be provided along with the application form. As soon as possible after the course(s) has been
completed provide to Human Resources grade reports, evaluations, or transcripts
indicating successful completion.
Represented employees covered by
contracts have a similar benefit and must follow the same process.
