Short Term Disability

Eligible faculty members will continue to be paid their regular salary for occasional absences because of illness or injury and during the first six months of disability.

Eligible administrative staff members will continue to be paid their regular salary for occasional absences because of illness or injury. During absences for one continuous month or more because of an illness or injury, eligible administrative staff members will be paid according to the following schedule.

Short term disability benefits are reduced by Social Security, workers compensation and similar payments, and are conditioned on the submission of medical evidence satisfactory to the university.
