| JOB TITLE: | Catholic Chaplain |
| DEPARTMENT: | Campus Programs |
| GRADE: | 4 |
| RANGE: | Commensurate with experience. (10-month position working 2.5 days a week when classes are in session). |
| TYPICAL DUTIES: | Reporting to the Dean of Campus Programs, the Catholic Chaplain is a member of the Center for Religious and Spiritual Life and has primary responsibility for coordination of Roman Catholic programs and services for students on campus. In addition, the Catholic Chaplain works closely with the other chaplains to respond to the needs of a spiritually diverse campus community.

| MINIMUM DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: | MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A nun or layperson with a Master's degree in related field with significant campus ministry experience. Demonstrated familiarity with a college/university environment and student developmental issues. Proven ability to work with college students of all backgrounds.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Ordained priest. COMPETENCIES: Creativity and innovation, interpersonal skills, listening skills, oral communications, respects diversity, teamwork/collaboration. |
