Measures Information Processing skills in the following categories:
|
Familiarity with at least two categories of software. Functions in a Microsoft Windows or Macintosh environment (use a mouse and keyboard, use menus and icons on the desktop, etc.). |
Working knowledge of at least three categories of software. Familiar with the use of a Web browser. Sufficient expertise in one or two software packages to train others. |
Demonstrated expertise in three or more categories of software – Knowledge of more advanced features of these packages. Trains others. Easily locates information on the Web and some familiarity with Web publishing. |
Expert knowledge of three or more categories of software or complex special-purpose software. Solid understanding of the use of Microsoft applications and assists other department members with a variety of computer software problems. |
