Summer Workshops, Minicourses, and Symposia

Each Summer, in addition to their research projects, summer students are invited to participate in Workshops, Minicourses, and a daylong Symposium on themes and skills related to their projects.

The workshops address such subjects as writing and critiquing abstracts; resumes and career discussions; and preparing a poster. More in-depth minicourses consist of two or more workshops on a particular subject, such as Statistical analysis, Bioinformatics, Bioethics, or Reading and Writing a Scientific Paper.
