FTP with Fetch on Mac OSX

Fetch is a program you can use to copy files between your computer and a remote server using a graphical click -and-drag method.

Open the Fetch program.  You will see a login window. 

Enter the full name of the host computer you wish to connect to and your username.

Set the "Connect using" box to SFTP for a secure, encrypted connection.

Click Connect.

Fetch will display the files in on the server you have connected to.

To download files to your computer, drag them from the Fetch window into a folder on your own computer.

To upload files to the remote host, drag them from your own computer into the Fetch window.

You can also drag folders between the Fetch window and your computer.
