Image database conversions

Project objectives: to convert a dozen course related image databases from FileMaker Pro to the Media Database.

Project Team: Dan, Mary, Camden

Status: A procedure has been worked out for field mapping and data conversion. With the help of a Webtech student the first FMP database is being converted. Records need to be cleaned up and new surrogate numbers added to be sure that existing file names will map to the surrogate number as handled in the Media DB. Camden is writing a script to automate the file renaming. 

Timeline: Completion Fall '02.
