Webdav Testing Project team: Raja Swamy, Dan Schnaidt, Jolee West, Mike Roy Goal: To determine a viable alternative to Frontpage Web Editor for the Macintosh platform. Status: Currently testing Macromedia Dreamweaver and Adobe GoLive Timeline: Expect to present results of tests beginning January. Decision on editor to be made after that. Testing criteria: Collaboration through Webdav along lines of PC Frontpage publishing. We would like to determine which package works best for an integrated environment in which webpages could be developed across platforms and editors. 1) Frontpage web (PC) edited with GoLive/Dreamweaver (Mac) and vice versa. (across platform) 2) Web created with GoLive/Dreamweaver (Mac): sharing and collaboration along lines of Frontpage web. |
