1. Room Assessment (March 2014):

    There are two projectors. Each projector is 50' from the closet.

 

g) Current projector throw distance:

    The throw distance of the main projector is 12'.

h) Current number of working data jacks:

6 working data jacks. Five in the closet and one in the ground in front of the main screen. There are 2 others in the other floor panels, along with 27 other jacks on the walls around the room.

  

i)  Current location of the telephone:

There is no phone.

 

j)  Current condition of the projector mount, pipe and base:

 

k) Evaluation of the current speakers:

Speakers are in good condition. We will reuse them.

 

l)  Current electric screen switch location:

Located on left wall in closet

 

m) Current light switches:

Located on the left of the main projection screen

 

n) Wall and floor conditions after removing the old rack, electric or manual screen and in some cases moving the speakers:

Rack will not be removed.

 

o) Potential ceiling problems with the new electric screen installation:

We will not be installing new screens.

 

p) Storage instructions for the IMS team for the hardware or AV equipment repurpose and/or disposal:

Leave all data and speaker cables intact.

There is no telephone.

 

t) All the old cables will be stored in a central location TBD for future recycle or disposal.

2. New Design Logistics (March 2014)

a) New Projector proposal:

    Epson G6750

 

b) New Projection Screen dimensions:

    Same screen.

 

c) New projector throw distance proposal: 

    Same as before.

 

d) Potential location for the new cart, podium, cabinet, or rack: 

    Keeping the rack.

 

e) AV housing proposal for the new installation:

    Keeping the rack.

 

f)  Conduit for new installation in case is necessary:

    Same conduit.

 

g) Amount of data necessary for the new installation including the line for the projector:

    3 or 5 (Rack VGA, Rack Laptop VGA, Mac, 2 Projectors??)    

 

h) HDMI length from the projector to the AV housing (cart, cabinet, rack, or podium):

    ~50'?

 

i)  Umbilical cord length:

    N/A, we're using a rack.

    Same speakers.
