One or more computers with access to Wesleyan Email, Library resources, and file transfer to Windows File Server (Dragon).
Minimum Computer Requirements
- 500Mhz Processor
- 256MB RAM
- Ethernet card
- Windows XP Professional
[Note, if your computer does not meet these requirements, the Wesleyan Computer Store can assist you in upgrading your current system or advise you in the purchase of a new one.]
Package Cost: $120
This package includes the hardware and software you will need as well as the re-configuration of your computer by the Wesleyan Computer Store & Service Center.
Equipment
E-mail configuration
If you are using Eudora, your settings should be the same as those used on your campus computer.
Library access
No configuration required. Just go to the Library Home Page.
FTP Software
If you don't have one, an FTP client will be installed and configured to connect to your home directory on the campus File Server, Dragon. Click Here for FTP instructions.
