Accessing Data on Dragon

 

Macintosh OS9.x Users:

To access your files on Dragon:

  1. From the Apple menu, select the Chooser

  2. Select AppleShare from the Chooser

  3. Click on the Server IP Address button

  4. Type in dragon.wesleyan.edu

  5. You will be asked to authenticate:  type in your email username and password.  For password assistance, contact the Help Desk at x4000.  To change your password, log into your E-Portfolio and select Password Manager under Tools and Links.

  1. You will see a list of all the available volumes.  Select the volume you want to access.  The student folders begin with and 's' followed by the class year - s05, s06, s07, etc.  Select the folder for your class year. 

  2. Once you have mounted the volume, open it and you will see your own home folder.

You no longer need to log into Novell NetWare or  run NetWare client software.  It can be uninstalled at any time.
