Eudora
Eudora continues to be supported on campus, but a gradual phase out of the
program is slated for 2011-2012. It runs on a Mac or a PC and allows you
to download your mail to your own computer. Once downloaded, the mail does
not remain on the server long term. While this has benefits to mailbox
size and archive, recovery from system failure can be difficult. Eudora is
no longer developed by Qualcomm and there are no updates and limited support for
the program.
