Payroll guidelines
Maximum Work Hours
- During semesters, employment is limited to 15 hours per week. This limitation allows students to focus on their academic pursuits and allows for the maximum amount of student employment. During semester breaks students may work a maximum of 37.5 hours per week.
Timesheet Submission
- Students should submit their shifts through the Timeclock system in their e-portfolios, immediately after they have finished working their shifts. Failure to submit timesheets in a timely manner will result in punitive actions taken against student workers.
Pay Rates
- The current summer pay rate for students is $8.75-$10.75 per hour according to the ITS Student Summer Employment Guidelines. This rate may be revised at any time, at the discretion of Information Technology Services.
- Students who do not work during the summer but begin working prior to the fall semester will be paid their fall hourly rate.
