- Make sure settings match the next screen shot (Marvell Yukos card) selected with DHCP option.
- Once you are in the PE environment, navigate to Go > System > Network > Map Network Drive...
- For the path, type \\129.133.125.126\bigbird_g, then connect using a different username, using these credentials - username: wesleyan\ghostuser , password: r0ck3tm@n
- Navigate to Go > Programs > Symantec Ghost v8 > Ghost32 (takes some time to load)
- In the ghost32 application, click OK to get to the main screen, then navigate to Local > Partition > From Image
- Look in your mapped network drive (bigbird_g) and then navigate to backup\fall07\1-23-08\. Then click on the file called CFAXP.gho
- Select source partition from image file, you only have one option, click OK
- Select local destination drive, you only have one option, click OK
- Select destination partition from Basic Drive:1 Choose part 2, NTFS partition. It will have the smaller datasize. Make sure you are not overwriting the OSX partition! Then click OK.
- It will take 30 - 60 minutes for the new XP image to download. When it is completed, restart the computer if you are prompted. It is then safe to remove the BartPE CD.
