Pricing
Reflects the cost of ink, paper, and maintaining
and replacing the printer.
- Ink cost $6.30 per square foot
Ink cost is a function of coverage. This
charge assume approximately 40% coverage.
-
Paper cost
$0.70 per square foot
For Epson Enhanced Matte on a
24" or 44" wide roll.
You may also supply your own
roll or sheet paper. Note that we can
not guarantee printer performance with
user supplied papers, which need to
be tested.
-
Total cost:
$7.00 a square foot.
Other potential costs
$5 for a 24x8" test strip.
If color accuracy is critical, you will
want to perform a test before the job is
run.
Changing the default black ink
The default black ink is matte. A photo black may be substituted for use on
glossy or photographic stock. Because
the cartridge change results in a
significant loss of ink, there is an
additional charge of $40
to change blacks.
Payment
A Wesleyan student
or department account number is
preferred. Personal checks are OK. No
other form of payment is accepted.
File submission and preparation
- Files may be submitted on
a CD, DVD or copied down from a network
directory.
- Photoshop files are preferred. Files may also be submitted in Quark, Illustrator or other Postscript output.
- Proof
all files on a lab color printer
first. If
your file does not print successfully on the lab
printer, it will not do any better on a wide format
printer.
