Microsoft Software License Agreement
Wesleyan
is pleased to announce a software
license agreement with Microsoft. This
agreement gives the University permission
to distribute specific Microsoft software
packages to its students, faculty and
staff free of charge.
Office XP & Office2000 (Windows), FrontPage2000 (Windows & Macintosh) and Office98 for Macintosh
are available
to all Wesleyan students, faculty &
staff for installation or upgrade.

Free
download from our Software Server:
Purchase
an Office or FrontPage Installation CD
from the Wesleyan Computer Store.
Although the software is
free, we charge a nominal fee to cover the cost of the
media and overhead. The cost per software title is
$20. We highly recommend
this purchase for a more efficient
installation and to enable you to perform
any later updates, reconfigurations or
re-installations.
Students:
Purchase the Wesleyan Campus Pack with
your new computer from the Wesleyan
Computer Store
The
Wesleyan Campus Pack is a complete
software configuration which ensures
compatibility with the Wesleyan Network
and provides a suite of useful software
packages. The purchase price of $135
includes installation and configuration
for network readiness by the Wesleyan
Computer Store and Service Center.
Microsoft Office (Office2000 for PC or
Office98 for Mac) is included free of
charge. Students will receive their
own Office CD with this package. The
Campus pack is sold only with new
computers from the Wesleyan Computer
Store.
Free
loan to all Faculty and Staff
Software CDs are
available for 48 hour loan to faculty and staff from
the Olin Library Reserve Office and the Science
Library. In addition to the titles listed
above, Office 97 CDs are also available.
