Installing Microsoft PC software from the Software Server

Note: Faculty and Staff who log into Windows will automatically have an S: drive. Student PC users will need to map a drive to PCSoft on Dragon.

To map an S: drive to the Software Archives on Dragon

1. Right-Click on My Computer and select Map Network Drive
2. Select S from the Drive drop-down box. (Note: If your S: drive is already used by a hardware device in your computer, another available drive letter can be chosen.)
3. For the path, type in: \\dragon\software\pc
4. Make sure that the Reconnect at logon box is checked
